Members Make Quick Work of Chimney Fire

Members of Local 830 responded to reports of a chimney fire at 33 Hilltop Road. Upon arrival, members found one of the house's chimneys had caught a wooden surround on fire. Members quickly worked on the roof to dismantle and extinguish the fire in the extended area, as well as below inside below the chimney to prevent any drop-down fire from causing further damage to the house. The situation was quckly brough under control.
